Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the Cyber Theft Watch website and our content protection service. By using the website or engaging our service, you agree to them. If you are entering into these terms on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company.
The service
Cyber Theft Watch detects unauthorized copies of our clients' films and series across streaming sites, cyberlockers, torrent networks and social platforms, and pursues their removal through DMCA and equivalent notice-and-takedown procedures. The scope of monitoring, the titles covered and the service level are defined in each client's service agreement, which takes precedence over these terms where they differ.
Your authority over enforced content
You may only ask us to monitor and enforce content for which you own the rights or hold written authority to act on the rights holder's behalf. You must tell us promptly if your rights to any title lapse, are transferred or become disputed. You are responsible for the accuracy of the catalogue information you provide, and you agree that we submit takedown notices in reliance on it.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the service to target content you do not have the rights or authority to enforce
- attempt to probe, disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the platform or its infrastructure
- resell or provide access to the platform to third parties without our written agreement
- use the website or service in breach of any applicable law
Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately at removals@cybertheftwatch.com if you suspect unauthorized use.
Intellectual property
The website, platform, detection technology and all related materials remain our property or that of our licensors. Your content, catalogue data and titles remain yours; you grant us only the licence needed to operate the service on your behalf.
Disclaimers
No anti-piracy service can locate or remove every infringing copy. Except as set out in a client service agreement, the website and service are provided "as is" and we make no guarantee of specific detection or removal outcomes. Takedown outcomes depend on third parties — hosts, platforms and registrars — whose actions we do not control.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit or loss of data arising from use of the website or service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law. Our total liability in connection with the service is limited as set out in the applicable client service agreement.
Termination
We may suspend or end access to the website or service if these terms are breached. Clients may terminate as set out in their service agreement. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers and liability — survive it.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms from time to time; the current version is always available on this page and material changes will be notified to active clients. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
